Acklins Creekside Bonefish Lodge is a remote resort located on pristine, virgin Acklins Island next to Atwood Harbour better known as Datnum Bay, which is a popular attraction for guests to visit. The property overlooks the richest bone fishing flat in the northern part of The Bahamas, in fact, as soon as guests arrive, they see the flat just across the street, and immediately grab a rod and wade fish.

Julius and Arnette Chisholm established Acklins Creekside Bonefish Lodge in 2004. One of the reasons the couple selected this remote site was so that they could offer bonefishing right off the flats and by kayaks. In other words, a charter boat isn't necessary. Guests like the convenience of being able to fish only footsteps from their rooms.
